Kick-off Meeting of the EU-funded Project “EXIS” Successfully Held in Thessaloniki
The Kick-off Meeting for the EU-funded project “EXIS – Enhancing police officers to fight discrimination and effectively respond to crimes against LGBTIQ+ people” took place on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, in Thessaloniki, Greece. All consortium members participated in this important inaugural gathering.
Representatives from all EXIS partner organizations attended the meeting, including:
- European and Development Programs Management Agency (EDPMA)
- Center for Security Studies (KEMEA)
- State Security Directorate of the Hellenic Police
- University of West Attica
- IANUS TECHNOLOGIES
- Thessaloniki Pride
- University of Applied Sciences for Public Services in Bavaria
The primary goals of the meeting were to present the project’s objectives, facilitate introductions among partners, and clearly define the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder involved. In addition, all Consortium partners worked to establish a common understanding of the EXIS framework, determine the implementation timeline, and outline the methodology for each EXIS Task to ensure the project’s efficient and coordinated execution.
