“Dismounted Operations for Covert Container Kits”
In the framework of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) Programme, our Office, together with the Attica Sub-Directorate of the Hellenic Police, wrote the proposal entitled “Dismounted Operations for Covert Container Kits” and acronym “D.O.C.2K.”, which has been positively assessed by the relevant EU institutions.
The project:
- concerns the supply of modern systems which will help to achieve the objectives of the fight against organised crime, while also contributing at European level, taking into account the cross-border nature of these crimes.
- aims to enhance the technical capabilities of the Anti-Narcotics Sub-Directorate/Attica Security Directorate to monitor and mitigate the EU’s cross-border threats, mainly from the transport of containers entering the EU through central ports located mainly at its borders (e.g. the ports of Piraeus and Thessaloniki).
The total budget of the project amounts to 529.097,00 € and has a total duration of twenty-four (24) months.
