a) costs related to the preparation, selection, evaluation, management and monitoring of the program, actions or projects
b) costs associated with accounting and on-site audits of actions or projects
c) costs linked to evaluations of the programme, actions or projects
d) costs associated with information, publicity and transparency in relation to the program, actions or projects, including costs incurred for information, promotion and costs for information and awareness campaigns related to the purpose of the program, which are organized, among others, at the local level
e) costs for the purchase, installation and maintenance of information systems for the management, monitoring and evaluation of this regulation and the special regulations
f) expenses of the meetings of the monitoring committees and subcommittees concerning the implementation of the actions, including the expenses of experts and other participants in these committees and including participants from third countries, if their presence is necessary for the effective implementation of the programs, actions or projects
g) expenses for strengthening the administrative capacity of implementing the Funds.
Technical assistance appropriations may be used to support actions to reduce the administrative burden for beneficiaries and competent authorities, including electronic data exchange systems, and actions to strengthen the capacity of Member States’ authorities and beneficiaries to manage and make use of the support provided by the special regulations. Actions can also concern previous and subsequent financial frameworks. Where one or more competent authorities are common to more than one national programme, appropriations for technical assistance expenditure in each of the relevant programs may be merged, either in part or in full.
