The project “Collaboration for the establishment of increased awareness of the situation – CERETAB” concerns the improvement of the accurate picture of the situation at the borders of Greece – Cyprus, through the strengthening of cooperation and the exchange of information between the National Coordination Centers of the two countries. More specifically, as part of the project, the development of a Common Information Exchange Platform is planned as well as the supply of border surveillance systems.
The partners participating in this project are, on the Greek side, the European and Development Program Management Service of the Ministry of Citizen Protection and the Ionian University, while on the Cypriot side the Cyprus Police and the University of Cyprus.
Budget: €1,023,990 (95% European funding, excluding VAT)
Duration: 51 months (until 28/02/2023).
