This action concerns the supply of special equipment and software to strengthen the possibilities of laboratory examination of seized digital evidence related to financial crimes. In this action, the main beneficiary is the Directorate of Criminal Investigations \/ A.E.A. which, due to its nature, is the materially responsible department of the Hellenic Police Headquarters for carrying out all the necessary laboratory tests on evidence of criminal acts and in particular, for the action in question, examination of confiscated digital evidence related to financial crimes as given the of its position, Greece is used as an important route for smugglers to the countries of Northern Europe.<\/div>\n
