ΗThis action, with a total budget of €1,950,000.00, is implemented by the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum/Special Secretariat for the Coordination of Involved Agencies and aims at the effective coordination of the competent authorities, as well as the development of strategies, action plans and contingency plans in relevant sectors of interest.
Specifically, the act aims to effectively monitor the various aspects of immigration, to institutionalize a knowledge exchange network and to develop the skills of frontline staff as well as support staff, through the following activities:
- The establishment and operation of the Migration and Asylum Observatory,
- The development of strategies, action plans and contingency plans,
- The establishment and operation of the National Register of Interpreters.
The act will be implemented with the advisory support of the Ministry of Justice and Social Security (Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Social Security– NoMJ), as well as the Directorate of Integration and Multiculturalism (Directorate of Integration and Diversity–IMDi) of the Kingdom of Norway, who are the Donor Project Partners.
